Pine Ridge Recreation AreaLocated east of Ashland on State Highway Y, Pine Ridge offers four established camping sites as well as a large meadow for impromptu camping. The camp provides water, toilets, and access to the Cedar Creek Trail. The trail is a 36 mile loop suitable for backpacking, mountain bikes, and horses. The trail also connects Pine Ridge with Dry Creek Camp used mainly by equestrians for trail rides. Hunting is allowed in the Mark Twain National Forest for in season game - check with Missouri Department of Conservation for information. Forest Services accepts donations in lieu of fees.
