Painted Rock Conservation Area

Painted Rock Conservation Area overlooks the Osage River and features a wheelchair accessible trail that passes a burial site along the bluffs, and leads to an panoramic overlook of the Osage river. The trail continues along the slope of the bluff and is of moderate difficulty. A small camp in the southern section is next to a lake stocked with bluegill. Across river is Mari-Osa Delta Access and campground. Nearby is Dr. Bruns Access is located on the Maries River. To the south Rinquelin Community Lake is a medium sized lake with access piers and camping.
