Osage Tavern Access

Primarily a camp for fishing, the campground includes a concrete ramp access to the Osage River, and sites large enough for trailers. Just across the Big Tavern Creek is the Bat Cave Natural Area, with a cave high on the bluffs that is home to an endangered species of gray bat.

The Osage River is rated good for bass, catfish, crappie, white bass, and sunfish. Limits are posted on the Missouri Conservation Department's website.
